‘Ammavum Naanum’ – a mini web series on Food, Recipes and Memories

Ammavum Naanum  – is a mini web series on Food, Recipes, Memories, Nostalgia and Emotions conceptualised by Rakesh Raghunathan a Show Host, Celebrity Chef and a Food Historian. Rakesh is a well known name in the food circuit with several food programmes to his credit like Dakshin Diaries for Living Foodz and Sutrulaam Suvaikalaam for News 7. The idea of Ammavum Naanum is a simple universal one that food is an emotion and every food has a story behind it. And more often than not the story begins at home with our mothers and grandmothers. Season one of the series will feature 12 signature recipes which Rakesh’s mother has taught him, handed over to her through generations. Along with Rakesh, the creative producer of the show is Aditi Ravindranath who has wide experience in film marketing and production and the music is by Staccato. The show is a dedication to every mother who has a story to tell through her food.
